What’s in the Good:

  • Tsp. Olive Oil
  • 1 Chopped Onion
  • 2 Garlic Cloves
  • 1 large Carrot
  • 2 Celery Rib
  • 1/2 Pound Cut Chicken Andouille Sausage
  • 6 Cups Chicken Stock
  • ½ Pound Smoked Turkey Pieces (neck or tips)
  • 2 cups Dried Lentil
  • 14 oz. Crushed Tomatoes
  • 1 Tbsp. Mama’s Good Good Rosemary Seasoning Blend!
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 1 Lemon

Making Something Good:
Heat olive oil in a pan, add onion, garlic, celery and carrots. Sautee for 8 minutes, making sure that the vegetables are tender.  Add sausage and smoked turkey and sauté for 2 minutes.  Add lentils, tomatoes, bay leaf, chicken stock and Mama’s Good Good Rosemary Seasoning.  Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer for 40 minutes, stirring occasionally until lentils are soft. Remove bay leaves and serve.  Add a squeeze of lemon prior to serving
